Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally occurring, colorless, odorless, tasteless, gas that works itself into all homes and buildings, the only way to know your radon levels is to perform a radon test.

Radon Mitigation

When elevated levels of radon gas are found, the next step is to install a mitigation system. Radon Defense is certified and experienced to provide mitigation services in all homes and buildings.

Having issues with your installed radon mitigation system? Give us a call and we can walk you through the initial diagnostics that you as the owner can perform, and if needed schedule a technician to come out to take a look.

We chose Radon Defense because of its quick response and fair pricing. Linda presented all the options for the Radon mitigation system with photos and clear prices. The technicians were efficient on the installation and let me know the progress of their work. The look of the installed system blends seamlessly with my house. Overall the experience is great and I would recommend them to others in the future. - 9/07/2024

There are many companies that promise things and don't deliver. This is surely NOT one of them. They told me exactly what to expect and what they could do for me. Eric and Nicolas came out to my house. Expected it thoroughly and went right to work. Prior to them rectifying the issue, our radon levels were off the charts. Now our radon levels are almost non-existent. I had one concern after about four months of having the radon pump placed in our home. I called Radon Defense and Paul answered immediately. Unbeknownst to me, my concern wasn't a concern at all and my radon levels were fine. My issue was were addressed immediately and Paul assured me that Radon Defense will be with my and my family forevermore..... So refreshing. - 9/03/2024

The installation crew was great to work with and the installation looks very good. The radon levels measured the day after the work completed decreased. Hoping that trend will continue. - 8/20/2024

Prior to moving into our residence, we reached out Radon Defense to do a radon inspection. I am so glad we did because our radon levels were sky high. I contacted Linda and she was wonderful — super nice, responsive and knowledgeable. We ended up also getting a mitigation system installed by the company (they offer various styles depending on preference and price point). Eric and Nicholas assisted with that and they were timely and kept me informed on progress. I’ve had such a pleasant experience with this company, and Paul was super helpful when I had follow-up questions as well. You won’t be disappointed if you go with this company! - 8/03/2024

The Radon Defense team was amazing. Their service was professional, prompt, and made an immediate difference in our basement. They installed a system in our house that required relocating a passive pipe. Eric did an excellent job informing us about the process, installing the system, and educating us about how it worked. Linda effectively communicated with us, giving us estimates and arranging a roofer and electrician to complete the job. I would highly recommend Radon Defense! - 8/03/2024

I highly recommend Radon Defense. From my first call through final installation of a radon mitigation system, they were professional, courteous, patient, and never high pressure. I had to get approval from my homeowner's association, which slowed things down for me, but Radon Defense worked with me and were ready to install the system as soon as I got approval. On the day of the installation, the crew was careful and did a very professional installation and cleaned up the work area. They then walked me through the system, explaining how everything works and what I should look out for to make sure it continues to operate. Communication was always clear and prompt with everyone I interacted with. - 8/03/2024

Great service, great experience from testing to mitigation. Professional work. Nicely done. The Radon level got down from around 6 to below 0.4. Highly recommended. My house had different levels of concrete slabs and foundations and very hard to access crawl space. They could install the system for those different parts greatly. Thank you. - 3/31/2024

I don't normally write reviews unless something goes wrong but this place impressed me. Called on a wed, they were here on Friday (couldn't do Thursday due to rain, can't work on outside pieces of system in the rain.) Tech showed up on time and repaired unit in about an hour, even inspected tubing and found some seals were bad and resealed them for me. Totally professional and polite. I normally dread repair service visits because usually someone is up selling me. These folks did exactly what was needed, at the reasonable price they quoted over the phone. Highly recommended. - 3/09/2024

Paul You and your team do a great job. My wife and I will continue to refer your company and now that I know you will tell them about my experience with you when I had a question years after the installation. Great service when Nicholas and Eric installed and same great service years afterwards when we had questions. - 2/08/2024

Radon Defense is awesome. Eric came out to our property and went over the entire process with me, taking time to answer each of my questions.on top of that, he was very friendly. Every time I called the office, everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Eric and the crew (Kevin and Chris) were kind enough to assist in my moving things around and they completed a masterful project in less than a full day. Kevin was kind enough to make certain that everything was placed where I wanted and advised as to the best locations for the fan output. Eric also took time out of his day the following day to fix a small (non-mitigation-related) hiccup. Best of all, the price was fair and our numbers dropped almost immediately (we monitor with an AirThings). Everyone on this project has been absolute pleasure to deal with and I feel much better know my family is breathing clean air in our house thanks to Radon Defense. - 11/15/2023

After determination was made for where to place the system and after consultation with us as the homeowners, the system was installed. The team was professional and kept us informed the entire time of how it was to work. My husband and I were both very pleased with their professionalism, how they made sure to clean up. The system is working perfectly. We recommend Radon Defense very highly. - 7/28/2023

Great experience. Office staff very responsive. Install crew was on-time, polite, efficient, and knowledgable. Initial pressure test result was suboptimal, so they sealed basement cracks and retested to ensure optimal air flow. Answered all our questions. Made sure we understood how the system worked. Local company,. Highly recommend. - 6/09/2023

Still the best: came back after 3 years to fix a vibration - best crews ever! We have put in two radon systems in other homes so I knew basically how they work and the challenges. I called several places and even had one contractor come to start work. I knew right away they wouldn't work so we stopped their work. I was so pleased to find Radon Defense. Nick spoke my language (avoid the sump pump, good communication, running tests prior to install). Eric came and did a thorough, clean and very professional job. I have a tester and our radon ranged from 2.5 to 4. After install it dropped to .25. Great job!!! Worth the investment and you do not need to shop around. These guys are the best. - 5/02/2023

The technicians just left my house and I wanted to let you know I was very impressed. They showed up on time, explained everything they were going to install, and even helped put things back to the way they were before they started work. They were very professional. The radon mitigation system was installed in my basement, and it is out of the way, so it doesn't impact the functionality of the room at all. The technicians also tested the system to show me how well it was working. The technicians explained how the system worked and also provided the warranty information. Thank you and your team for the nice work. - 3/02/2023
